I’m a 57-year-old woman. I’ve struggled with my weight since my mid 40’s. I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and had previous knee replacement. I just thought it was because I was getting older and my metabolism had slowed down. I tried several different diets, only to fail and gain the weight right back. Then my daughter told me about The Metabolism Clinic in Charlotte. This program changed my life, it is fantastic. The physicians took the time to focus on your metabolism. My body is healing from the inside, by actually fixing the problems with my metabolism in the first place. It is amazing! This clinic has changed my life. It has helped me get the inflammation down that was in my body. My joints don’t hurt anymore. My energy level is so great now! The Metabolism Clinic is involved in every step of the way. The clinic makes you feel good about yourself. There is always a positive atmosphere, from the physicians to the staff. They are always uplifting and encouraging. They are as excited to see the results as you are. I no longer crave the sweets like I used to. This whole process has made me want to stay healthy. The doctors here are AMAZING! They are always available with any questions you may have. The doctors and staff are very personable and want you to achieve your goals. I feel so much better physically and mentally. I highly recommend The Metabolism Clinic for anyone who wants to become healthy and have more quality of life. Great program and great doctors!!!
Very positive atmosphere. Doctors are extremely supportive. Available by email with quick response. I’ve struggled with my weight all my life, and the older I got, the harder time I had. I’m finally losing the weight and seeing positive results! Very, very pleased with The Metabolism Clinic!
I am 32 years old and have struggled with my weight since childhood. I’m a daughter of a dietician and the only overweight one amongst my siblings. My mom tells me that even when I was a toddler and a young child, she expressed concern to my pediatrician about my consistent weight gain despite my diet. I have seen countless specialists who, after receiving my “normal blood” work, told me to “eat less and exercise more”, which literally seemed impossible. Throughout my young adulthood I spent a lot of money on gym memberships, personal trainers, and diet programs but my weight continued to go up. I have two young children and the back to back pregnancies obviously didn’t help my weight much. Since my youngest child was born (2 years), I have been excessively working out and calorie counting and couldn’t lose a pound; in fact, I have never lost more than 5 pounds in my life!! I learned of The Metabolism Clinic on Facebook and had a consult over the phone before making the decision to travel from Detroit to Charlotte. The testimonials spoke volumes to me and I was desperate to try anything. During my appointment, I was diagnosed as being insulin resistant, amongst other things; which was a pretty scary reality for me and upsetting considering all I’ve done to stay healthy. After my meeting at the clinic and learning about the program, it made complete sense to me and was different than anything I’d ever tried; I had no choice but to commit the next 12 weeks (at minimum) to it. Today is day 13 on the program and I have lost 12 lbs. I’ve never lost 12 lbs….so I know this works. I feel fantastic and have so much energy and am not starving; I hardly even think about food or what I’m going to eat. I can’t wait to see my progression over the next 10 weeks and I’m very thankful to have discovered the clinic at this time in my life.
I would like to share my experience about the Metabolism Correction Program. I am so grateful I had a chance to participate in this program. The program has changed my life for the better. I have tried numerous weight loss regimens (I will list them at the end) that did not give me long term results. I would lose, but always hit a plateau. I could never keep the weight off. I can gladly say that I never plateaued with the Metabolism Correction Program. I am a person who likes working out and could never understand why I kept gaining weight. I kept hearing, it is harder to lose weight the older you get. I really enjoyed the fact, The Metabolism Clinic, focuses on each individual. They have been very supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. I have not seen this much weight off at one time in over six years. I feel really great. My question to you is, do you want a healthy body? If your answer is yes, then the Metabolism Correction Program is for you. My body feels great with thirty-five pounds off. I have more energy. My skin looks better. I workout now and I can feel the difference in my body. I have more endurance than in the past. I do not feel sluggish throughout the day anymore. It is a wonderful feeling to have the body that I knew was always inside of me. Shopping for smaller clothes is a nice reward. I must also add, I do look younger since I am thirty-five pounds lighter. I want to thank you The Metabolism Clinic for all the encouragement, advice, knowledge, and support. This is one of the best decisions in my life. The list of past weight loss regimens: Master cleanse powder, ten-day smoothie diet, weight watchers, metabolic makeover 12 weeks’ program (workout classes), personal workout trainer (3 different times), pureed diet, Hollywood liquid diet, 21-day portion control, no carb diet, vegetarian diet, weight loss clinic (2 times, diet pills, HCG shots, and B 12 shots), hydroxyl cut sprinkles, Atkin’s diet, EAS protein shakes, Arbonne detox cleansing program, detox pills and bath soaks, slim fast shakes, and Garcinia Cambogia pills
November 2015. I am 51, very overweight. Morbidly obese is where I fall on the medical scale. I am a Critical Care nursing supervisor. I see the consequences of my obesity daily in our patients. Heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and the associated problems that come with diabetes such as loss of limbs, organ failure and blindness. I enjoy life. I try to stay active, long trail walks with the dogs, kayaking and paddle boarding. I do as much as I can as often as I can. I consider each day a blessing because I realize, in the back of my mind, that being 5’ 6” tall and weighing 260 pounds (and growing) is not sustainable. I am acutely aware of my mortality and the great possibility that I will die young, or worse, become permanently disabled. I try working out at the gym, and find myself in extreme joint pain. I find myself winded and nauseous just a mile or so into walks. I find that my feet ache after just 15 minutes on the paddleboard, and if the dog accompanying me on the board causes me to fall in, the swim back to the board leaves me breathless, waiting a while before I can even continue. My joints ache continually-hips, knees, wrist, elbows, shoulders. The hip pain allows me just an hour, maybe 2 before it wakes me out of sleep to turn. Often the other hip is still hurting when I turn, but I can’t breathe if I try to sleep on my back or stomach. I tried dieting, multiple times. Springtime. I’m on the board with my dog Rocco. We paddle for hours, only stopping to play because we want to stop and play. No pain in my feet. I feel hopeful, for the first time in years, that maybe, just maybe I can become healthy and add years to my life instead of subtract years. Friends, family and coworkers all comment on the drastic change in me. I was stopped by one of our trauma surgeons just a few days ago and congratulated on my transformation. At this writing, I am at 178 pounds, 82 pounds from my heaviest. My pants have gone from waist size 42 to 32. My shirts from 2XL to medium. More than this though, I feel great. I feel successful. I feel hopeful for my future.
